Member News – November 2013

1) Jessica Ferguson – her book The Last Daughter is now available from Wild Rose Press as part of the Scrimshaw Dolls series.

2) Linda Hurst – has three children’s books now available.

3) Sylvia Ney – Her article “Giving Veterans a Voice—April 2013 Interview with Tim O’Brien” will be published in the anthology Proud to Be: Writing by American Warriors, Volume 2. The anthology is a partnership between the Missouri Humanities Council, Warriors Arts Alliance, and Southeast Missouri State University Press. The anthology is scheduled for release on November 15, 2013 and can be purchased ($15 + postage) at the University Press website, www6.semo.edu/universitypress/ and at Amazon.com.

4) Pam Thibodeaux – has a new Devotional “Love is a Rose” and is revising her Tempered series as well as The Visionary. She sold her publication TWJM, but continues to work with them. She also plans to have a new novel available in November.

5) Carol Weishampel – She was interviewed by Shannon Perry of KKHT radio (100.7 FM) about her book “Adopting Darrell” which aired on Sunday night (Oct. 27) at 6:00 PM. books are now available at Balimports in Beaumont. I will be signing at Balimport’s Christmas Festival Nov. 7, 5-10. She will also host the Bayou Writer’s Group booth at the La. Book Festival, Nov. 2.
