10/12-out to authors for final approval.

Nov, 2016—after 5th out for formatting
1/15/17 –formatting complete and order proofs
Have Proof at Feb and March meetings—2017 (this gives people two meetings to look at book.
April meeting, 2017—pdf available, book available for order, book launch.
Authors must be currently paid member of Bayou Writers Group.

(EXTENSION – JUNE 14th)
- Prose: Fiction or Non-Fiction: limit 3,000 words.
- Poetry: Standard: limit 25 lines / Prose: Limit 250 words
- Art: paintings, drawings, cartoons, photographs—color or b/w can be submitted but will be printed in black and white.
All work must be author’s original, unpublished work
Submit your best work. Anthology Team will copy edit, not for content.
Submit a short bio—less than 100 words–not including contact information: website, Facebook, etc, in third person, with photo.
Submit prose/poems in 10 pt font, Helvetica or Times New Roman, Single Space.
Artwork/author photo—at least 300 dpi, 6”x 8” .jpeg
May submit up to three pieces (can be in separate or same category) –no specific theme
Work published elsewhere will not be accepted. BWG retains first publishing rights. All other rights remain with the author—in six months all rights return to author.
Submissions received after June 1, 2106 will not be considered.
Anthology Committee reserves the right to not approve submission. Before publication, changes made will be sent to authors for approval. If author does not respond, work will be published as per anthology committee. If issues can be resolved, work will be published, otherwise it will not be considered for anthology.
